    Covid-19 has shook the worldwide business events market, causing many events to be postponed or cancelled and forcing the event planning industry to reconsider how we will do business. Our industry, our company LCH EXPERIENCE, our customers and attendants will have to adapt to the “New Normal”.

     

    While international travel is now constrained, the corporate world has shifted to virtual and hybrid events to assist bridge the gap between countries. Despite a lot of social and business events had to be cancelled or postponed because of Covid19, our industry will always be satisfied of endure to the sanitary restrictions in order to provide all the precaution for the safety worldwide.

     

    In pursuance to continue our presence in the industry, LCH EXPERIENCE began a new way of offering our customers virtual events. Virtual events need technology. We hire the technology, the platforms in which we operate now in a big scale. Before pandemic we use platforms to have video chats with our families, friends and some job functions. Now we are using platforms such as “Zoom”, “Brella”, “VFairs”. They are our venue to host content and attendance.

     

    We need to adapt as organizers, customers have to adapt as well as stakeholders.

     

    We are very sure that even if Pandemic ends at some point, virtual events are here to stay.

    Virtual events have the ability to reach a much larger audience. Over the course of the pandemic, people have acquired a better work-life balance, making long-distance travel for an event less and less appealing. Virtual events are not only more inclusive, but they are also more cost-effective.

     

    A hybrid event is a trade exhibition, conference, non-conference, seminar, workshop, or other gathering that mixes a "virtual" internet component with an in-person "live" event.

    This can be done using a live streaming video studio that will manage the “live” part of the event, while the audience can really live that experience at the same time the virtual seminars or conferences can take place as well with the possibility to have a conversation real time with any of the participants and develop interaction almost as it was face to face.

     

    We can say by now that the industry will recover. Virtual and Hybrid as well as live events are profitable. In business concerns, people will always need to gather, to learn, to teach, to sell, to buy, to expose their merchandises. In social terms is almost the same; people need to talk, to see each other to get together, nourish relationships. So, as long as covid19, new viruses, new waves will let people gather in a secure environment we will get used to virtual and hybrid events.

    Depending of all sanitary factors, we could organize social events depending on vaccinated audience, using of masks, proper ventilation, outdoors social occasions complying with healthy behaviors to avoid risks and reduce spread.
